NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE TO INCREASE
IN OCTOBER 2007


The Government have released details of increases to the National Minimum Wage due from October 2007, they are as follows:

• Adult minimum wage rate will rise from £5.35 to £5.52

• 18 to 21 year olds (Youth Development Rate) will rise from £4.45 to £4.60

• 16–17 year olds will be increased from £3.30 to £3.40
